I was out of town for a few days and this morning I finally got to play RMR. I run two accounts and have been doing missions lately, lvl 4. When I warp into a deadspace spot now, 10 seconds after both ships have arrived I get a BSOD. The error is Bad_Pool_Header. I've begun looking for a solution on the web and the first few pages I have read point to bad drivers but I NEVER had this issue before on Tranq. Does RMR require patching my device software?
NE1 else having this issue?

I tried the "one account with sound off" and it didn't help.
I updated my Video drivers.
I updated my mobo Via 4in1 drivers.
I updated my NIC drivers.
Only thing left is to use the Manufacturer's 2002 driver for my audio over Microsofts version.
I still am getting the Bad_Pool_Header (x00000019) BSOD.

LOL, ok guys, thanks for the tips but I have been playing Eve since retail release. I know most tricks and fixes. I do not run two accounts off of one installation.
I just updated my Sound drivers to manuf drivers, didn't help still BSOD'd.
This NEVER happened before until 8 or 10 patches back on Test server before RMR was released. So, I feel confident something was added to RMR that my machine doesn't like.
Some other software title will get my time and I'll give this issue a couple of days and if I can't play RMR then I'll kill my accounts, and no you can't have my stuff.
PLEASE NOTE
This BSOD occurs when I enter deadspace on the Vengeance (lvl4) mission, after the first few Serp ships have locked me. Then, ker-boom, BSOD.

I disabled sound on both accounts and I got 2 minutes of play before the same BSOD.
No idea about Xfire, and I don't run it.
I updated all of my device drivers.
Next, I will try turning the Sun off.....which is unrealistic and sucks hiney.
I have a 2Gb CPU and 1Gb of ram. I'm fine on resources and cooling.

AT the deadspace gate I am running 171Mb of RAM on one account and 176Mb on the other.
Sound on - both accounts
Sun off - both accounts
Results are...
RAM - 215Mb on one, 225 on the other

So far it seems to be the Sun setting.

I am still having this problem. Was able to play for 20 minutes but, alas, another BSOD with the same title.

I'm making a petition to release me from the mission. I cannot complete the Vengeance mission while BSOD out my a$$.

Once I destroyed the NPCs my memory requirements dropped to around 200Mb.
CCP seems to have reset my account somehow, I have the n00b tutor.

An endless string of BSOD. Once again a victim of CCP patching. I've seen this before. I'll come back after the hotfix(s).

The article you found has a solution of patching WindowsNT. I doubt I should patch WinXP SP2 with a NT SP. That looks like a horror story in the making.
Bottom line is, before RMR I could run missions, after RMR I BSOD constantly. I've cancelled both my subscriptions until I hear from corpmates there has been a hotfix. Usually 2 to 3 weeks after a large patch CCP makes a series of smaller patches. CCP has to hear the screams from players first.

Btw, I had this same BSOD issues after the first major addition patch. Eve was unplayable until CCP made a few hotfixes.
